Considering using the 500-year floodplain to redesign lift stations and other critical infrastructure to lengthen their useful life in flood-prone areas. Complete Streets projects (a project in West Palm Beach) should consider tiered and adaptive LID elements that provide strong aesthetic and treatment benefits. The 50-year hydrologic performance of all The City should consider a seawall initiative to ensure existing seawalls are preserved and that only approved, adaptable modifications are made.
