South Dakota Drought Dashboard

This dashboard provides map-based information on the current status of drought in South Dakota, including general drought information, temperature, precipitation, the Standardized Precipitation Index, hydrologic information, agricultural information, and soil moisture.

The site also offers dought forecasts/outlooks, including drought outlooks, 1–7 day temperature and precipitation forecasts, NOAA Climate Prediction Center short-term temperature and precipitation outlooks, NOAA Climate Prediction Center long-term temperature and precipitation outlooks, National Multi-Model Ensemble *experimental* forecasts (NMME), and significant wildland fire potential outlook.
